While we would be happy to see your pet should they require immediate medical attention as our scheduling and staffing allows during our office hours, we reserve the right to refer, transfer, or otherwise redirect patients to a critical care, emergency, or specialty veterinary facility if we deem it is within the patient’s best interest to do so.
This list is in order from east to west on Long Island, New York, and as complete as we can make it. Please, go to the nearest emergency hospital to your home.
Many of these animal emergency hospitals also offer specialty veterinary care by referral for orthopedic care, dentistry, internal medicine, neurology, cardiology and other animal specialties. We will be more than happy to provide a referral to the specialty veterinarian after we have completed an examination of your pet to determine which type of referral is necessary.
