If you have lost your pet, please do not hesitate to call Suffolk Veterinary Group Animal Wellness & Laser Surgery Center and leave information regarding your lost pet with our Front Desk PetCare Team. We have a special binder where we record all information regarding your pet so that if similar animals are reported as found, we can contact you right away.

Also, please call your pet’s microchip registration database to inform them that your pet is lost and that anybody calling in regards to your pet’s microchip number may have found your pet.

Remember to call us again once your pet has been found so that we can remove them from this binder, and celebrate with you their return home!

If you have found a pet wandering your community, please approach with caution. Pets that are lost are often scared and anxious, and may bite due to their fears. It may be better to contact the Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter & Adoption Center, or your own town’s animal shelter, which can send trained individuals to capture the animal and bring them to a safe place to be reunited with their families.

You can also go to our “Clinic & Patient Forms” tab and print out our Lost Pet or Found Pet forms to fax or mail to our office. These forms will be placed directly in our Lost & Found Pet binder. Click on the underlined links to visit the websites of these lost and found pet services.
